Exelpet All Wormer for Cats is an effective worming tablet which controls all major intestinal worms commonly found in Australian cats including roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm.
Treats and controls all major intestinal worms, including roundworm and hookworm
Also protects your cat from tapeworm
Dose: for cats 2.5kg and under, give half a tablet by mouth. For cats 2.6-5.0kg, give 1 tablet by mouth. For cats weighing over 5kg, give 1 tablet for every 5kg. Adult cats should be treated every 3 months. Kittens should be treated at age 6 weeks, 8 weeks, and 12 weeks, and then monthly until 6 months of age. For pregnant cats, dose at mating, before the birth of kittens, and then every 3 months.
How do cats get worms? Adult cats are exposed to worms through soil, and they may also be exposed from eating small animals like mice who can act as intermediate hosts. Heavy infestations with worms can cause diarrhoea, weight loss, poor growth and anaemia. Kittens are particularly susceptible, so they should be wormed every fortnight from 6 to 12 weeks of age, then every month until 6 months of age. Adult cats and kittens over 6 months old should be wormed at least every 3 months. For more information on worming, see our article Complete Guide to Fleas, Worming, and Ticks in Cats. If you suspect your cat has worms, always seek veterinary advice to complete a proper diagnosis.

These are broad guidelines only, designed to assist with feeding your pet based on their weight, age and activity level. Always check the feeding charts on your pet's food packaging in conjunction with these feeding guidelines. Required amounts may differ between individual pets, and adjustments may be required to maintain optimal body weight.
Once or twice daily feeding is recommended for adult dogs, unless otherwise specified by your veterinarian. Puppies and kittens require feeding more regularly, with the total portion divided into three or four meals throughout the day. Ensure fresh water is available at all times.
