Hygain Fibressential
Suitable for: All horses and ponies as a fibre source who are currently being fed chaff or where a high fibre diet is required.
Hygain Fibressential are nutritionally enhanced chaff nuggets containing a highly digestive fibre source, meaning the feeding rates can be reduced by a third in volume compared to regular chaff. With reduced sugar levels and a balanced calcium to phosphorus ratio, these chaff pallets also help to support the maintenance of healthy bones.
Feeding Guide: Hygain Fibressential can be fed as a complete chaff and partial hay replacer.
Dry: Hygain Fibressential is approximately three times the density of hay based chaff. Therefore, you can feed approximately a third of the volume that you currently feed of chaff.
Wet: Hygain Fibressential can be soaked to provide a high fibre mash for horses with poor dentition. Add water (warm or cold) to a similar volume of Fibressential and wait 10 minutes prior to feeding.
From humble beginnings and a one man operation in 1983, Hygain is now one of the leading equine and feed supplement companies. With a dedicated equine feed mill in Victoria, Hygain formulate nutritional solutions that make a real difference to your horses health, performance and wellbeing.
