IAH Bio-Hoof Care and Repair
Suitable for: All horses and ponies, particularly those with hoof splits, cracks or damage.
International Animal Health (IAH) formulate a range of products to support the health and wellbeing of horses and foals. IAH markets quality Australian owned and Australian made products, from feed additives, probiotics, anti-parasitic pastes and drenches, to first aid, hoof-care and grooming products.
The Bio-Hoof Care and Repair powder is a biotin supplement with added zinc and calcium, to provide the essential nutrients involved in the growth and maintenance of healthy hooves. While biotin is beneficial in improving the growth rate of the hoof wall, its combination with calcium improves the strength and resilience of the hoof wall to a greater degree than with biotin alone.
Directions for use: One level scoop contains approximately 35 grams. The below doses may be doubled during the first two weeks of usage. Mix Bio-Hoof Care and Repair with feed and dose as per the following:
Ponies (200kg body weight): 10 grams per day.
Horses (450kg body weight): 20 grams per day.
Note: Regrowth of a healthy hoof may take between 6 - 9 months. Ideally, this product should be used for no less than 30 days and up to six months in order for the new hoof to grow out.

These are broad guidelines only, designed to assist with feeding your pet based on their weight, age and activity level. Always check the feeding charts on your pet's food packaging in conjunction with these feeding guidelines. Required amounts may differ between individual pets, and adjustments may be required to maintain optimal body weight.
Once or twice daily feeding is recommended for adult dogs, unless otherwise specified by your veterinarian. Puppies and kittens require feeding more regularly, with the total portion divided into three or four meals throughout the day. Ensure fresh water is available at all times.
