I like is as it doesn't track like other brands. My cats took to it right way. My only complaint would be if delivering and the person isn't home, please don't put it so close to the screen doors, which open outwards. Please alert your delivery people to this.

Just as good as the overpriced version from the supermarkets.

Feels lightweight and not as bulky as most other pelleted litters. It is claimed to be dust free, however from my experience, there is some dust- not very much so in the end it shouldn't be an issue honestly. It would be from the manufacturing process I suppose and is by far, better than any other form of litter, dust wise. There is a slight natural odour to it, but it's not over powering. Since we're talking recycled paper, the slight dust and odour could potentially vary from bag to bag. Ferrets are relatively close to the ground as they have short little legs and a highly sensitive nose. At first, ferrets were very interested in it. Amy, my littlest girl, was very intrigued by the new litter to the point she was scuffling backwards in a very odd but fascinating manner and sticking her head in it. Beavis, one of my boys, took a really good liking to this new litter and decided it was perfect for napping in. Yes, He decided to settle down for the night and slept in the litter box. The following day was quite hot and I guess where I found him? You guessed it, in the litter box. Comfortable? Apparently so. I received a few sneezes but that was due to sticking faces in it, other than that, the slight dustiness from this litter was not an issue for the ferrets. With any litter, and four little legs and paws, you will get some tracking. However, it is very minimal with this litter. I trialled it with two litter boxes, group 1 contains 4 desexed ferrets, and group 2, one intact male. My ferrets are raw fed as well, and as such may be less smelly when compared to a kibble fed ferret. Overall this litter really held up to multiple ferret poop/pee. Urine absorption was excellent. Odour absorption was okay. Held out really well, did not break apart, crumble or cake. Even with a lot of urine from all 4 ferrets concentrated to one small corner of the box, it still wasn't overly wet or crumbling. They didn't get stuck to the litter box either, which is another thing I am most impressed about. In conclusion, this is a great litter. Scoop daily and you shouldn't have an issue with odour. Will recommend to my members in The Natural Ferret on FB! :)

Tried this as it was cheaper than my normal paper pellets. The feel & look are great, however, the smell does not get absorbed whatsoever & by the next morning, it is stinky beyond belief. Will not be buying this again.

Unfortunately, my cats would not use this product, even when I mixed it in with their normal litter - Breeders Choice. Price a lot better and very similar, but must be something they can smell. So sorry, as think a great product, but not for every cat, obviously.

I have five indoor cats so an economical litter with odour control is essential for me - this litter is perfect. My cats took to it right away, it's not particularly dusty, easy to scoop up the wet litter (doesn't turn to powder) and I'm so happy to say it's environmentally friendly as this is very important. Definitely recommend this litter!

We were worried that our cat wouldn't like this litter as she is picky but she loves it! The bag does not have a handle so it is difficult to use for the first few litter changes. Product is also dusty, so don't stick your head near the hole you have to rip open. It could use a tear point like supermarket litter packs of the same variety. Thumbs up!

lots of dust when pouring into tray. sticks to the tray and doesn't absorb odour

Very dusty, smells a lot worse than similar products, not sure if I got a bad batch (3 bags all the same) won’t be buying again

My cats did not like this litter. I tried it when Pet Circle told me they were discontinuing the small sized Pet's Choice litter and recommended this as an alternative. It is dustier and has an odour that Pet's Choice doesn't have. The colour is also off-putting and when wet it doesn't have the same properties as Pet's choice in that it sticks to the litter box. Overall, I was very disappointed with this litter and have switched back to Pet's Choice and purchased the larger size.

Does keep smell down but way to dusty

Equal in quality to other "brands", and priced cheaper.. ?? also love the fact that it's recyclable, = win/win for me, and My cats have had no trouble with the change..

We normally use the Breeders Choice litter which is excellent, but very pricey. I tried this one to see how it compared and I'm thrilled with the results and being more competitively priced, I'll be purchasing more.

Smells bad, absorption not good, cats didn’t like it

Very dusty in comparison to Breeder's Choice and the odour after one day is overwhelming! I have to change the litter more often as neither my cat or I can stand it!

  • Reviewed

We didn't like it. The product is fine and messy and doesn't suck up urine that well. going back to breeders choice.

I am not overly impressed by this product. I don’t find it as good as breeders choice. I’d much prefer to spend a few extra dollars and buy the breeders choice because I find it lasts longer and helps control the odour unlike this one.

Very dusty, difficult to cleanup, cats not keen on it, will be going back to using Breeders Choice

Was so disappointed with this product as I swapped over from Breeder's choice paper litter. Both my cats eat grain free kibbles and wet food so their pee don't normally stink that bad. However due to the poor odour absorbent of these pellets, the moment my cat passes urine, the entire litter box stinks. Also it's dustier than the Breeder's Choice one which was a massive let down.

I chose this product because it was similar to my usual kitty litter of recycled paper. However the biggest difference is that it is very dusty and it doesn't mask the smell. My usual recycled paper kitty litter is dust free and masks most of the smell.

This litter is very similar to Breeders Choice but is markedly cheaper. I see other people have complained about the smell but as I have 3 cats I change the litter tray twice a day and scoop it out in between and I don't have any problems at all with odour. The transition from Breeders Choice and clay litter was without issue for all 3 cats. It's slightly more dusty (than BC) but I only notice this when I'm changing the litter outside and it doesn't stick to the tray or crumble. I think it's a great product and the savings add up (especially with auto delivery) if you use as much litter as my cats do.

I usually use Breeders Choice but this is just as good as with all litters there is some smell. I tend to change my litter daily and I have four cats but as this is great on the garden no problem with disposal. I take the view that my cats need clean litter like I like a clean toilet

Our cats would rather use this brand over others. Tried with two trays, one with Scrunch and another brand. Cats always used Scrunch & Sticks every time.

Super happy with it. As good as other recycled paper litters I've used in the past, and far cheaper. I was previously using Breeder's Choice and as far as I can see this is exactly like it, except the pellets are slightly darker colour (and of course its a better price haha). But my cat didn't notice the colour change so it didn't matter! The 30L bag is massive, it lasts a long time. If you're a fan of recycled paper litter, I highly recommend !

I like the price but unfortunately it is just way too dusty. When you first put it in it’s dusty but it settles. When they scratch after using it it’s also dusty. It’s pretty bad for their lungs to have litter this dusty.

Great. I have a very temperamental cat and he instantly took to it. Love that it’s recycled and not more expensive as a result. No need to look at other products!

This product really minimises the smell from the litter tray, and with two cats using it that's important. It's so much better than the other cat litter.

I thought this would be a fantastic alternative to our current paper little. Unfortunately for us we struggled a lot with odour control and a lost of dust. There was minimal tracking and the absorbency was fantastic.

I was worried that my cat would not like it after using the other brand for 10yrs but he loves it, I would recommend this product.

Had to change cat litter every 2 days as it just smelled of cat pee.

Found a steel screw and some metal pieces amongst the cat litter in the bag I purchased. Will not buy it again.

I think it was super dusty. I switched to Breeder's Choice and am much happier with that.
