Product Review Guidelines

Pet Circle welcomes reviews (positive and negative) on your experience with products we sell. We understand that reviews are essential, especially when purchasing online, offering fellow pet parents invaluable insights to help them make the best choices for their furry friends.

By submitting a review, you agree to Pet Circle’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You also agree to comply with these Product Review Guidelines and any Promotions as updated from time to time.

1. How do I leave a product review?

To leave a review, either:

(a) reply to the Review Request Email you receive by email after your purchase; or

(b) go to our website, search for the product, scroll to the bottom of the page and click in the box that says “Add your review”.

2. What are the requirements for a review?

If you choose to submit a review, it must:

• be based on your actual experience of the product;
• reflect your honest opinion;
• be relevant and directly related to the reviewed product; and otherwise comply with these Product Review Guidelines (including section 4).
• Reviews should be written in the supported language of our website, being English.

3. What content should I not include in a review?

A review must not include:

• language or content which may be considered defamatory, offensive or abusive;
• personal information, including full names, email addresses and phone numbers, or images in which a person is identifiable;
• content that is prohibited under applicable laws, including the Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth);
• feedback or issues relating to pricing, delivery, stock availability or customer service (see section 7 below for the process for communicating these matters);
• content which is likely to mislead or deceive other consumers; or links to external sites.

4. Is anyone disqualified from submitting a review?

If any of the following apply, you must expressly acknowledge the connection, interest or incentive (as applicable) clearly and prominently in your review:

• You have a commercial or personal interest in Pet Circle (e.g. as an employee) or in the supplier or manufacturer of the product you wish to review.
• You acquire an interest in a product (whether from Pet Circle or a third party) as a result of your participation in a competition, give-away or other promotion or as an incentive to leave a review.

For example, if you receive a sample of a product from a supplier (or an agency acting on behalf of a supplier) on the condition that they leave a review, you must: (a) disclose that you received a sample of the product; and (b) identify the provider of the sample.

5. Are Pet Circle reviews moderated?

Yes. Pet Circle reads all reviews for compliance with these Product Review Guidelines before they are published. Pet Circle will not publish any reviews (or parts of reviews) which it determines (in its absolute discretion) do not satisfy the requirements set out in these Product Review Guidelines.

6. Use of Submitted Content

By submitting a review, you grant Pet Circle a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish and translate the content of your review - including your name and any text, images, videos, star ratings, and other information you provide - for Pet Circle's advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, display on Pet Circle's website, social media accounts, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.

You also confirm that:

• you own or otherwise control all rights to the content you submit;
• the content is accurate and not misleading; and
• the content does not include personal information about others without their permission.

7. Other feedback

Reviews should be about your experience with the product. Consistent with this objective, we do not permit reviews that focus on:

• your customer service experience;
• any issues you encounter in relation to refunds or returns;
• shipping cost or speed;
• product condition or damage; or
• stock availability.
