Adaptil Calm Collar

Adaptil Calm Collar for Dogs

The Adaptil collar continuously releases Adaptils dog appeasing pheromone to promote feelings of calm and well-being in your dog or puppy.

  • Helps promote feelings of calm and well-being
  • Odourless and easy to use
  • Each collar lasts 4 weeks

Adaptil is an odourless, man-made version of Dog Appeasing Pheromone (DAP). Female dogs release DAP soon after birth to establish feelings of well-being and attachment in their puppies. When used correctly Adaptil can promote these feelings in your dog or puppy to help them overcome anxiety and other behavioural problems.

The Adaptil collar is especially useful for:

  • Travelling and boarding
  • Socialising puppies
  • Training
  • Coping with loud noises
  • Managing separation anxiety

The Adaptil collar is designed to be worn continuously around your dog or puppy’s neck. The body heat from your pet causes the collar to steadily release the Adaptil pheromone into their local environment. The collar should be removed before bathing or shampooing and replaced again when the coat is dry. Each collar lasts approximately 4 weeks and comes in two sizes:

  • 45cm for Small Dogs and Puppies fits neck up to 37.5cm
  • 70cm for Medium and Large Dogs fits neck up to 62.5cm

Safe for use on dogs of any age. Avoid use in dogs with extensive skin lesions.

Do you need to make an indoor environment feel safe and calming for your dog or puppy? Try using the Adaptil Diffuser.

Does your dog suffer from storm, travel or separation anxiety? Combining Adaptil with a Thundershirt can help.

Feeding Guidelines

These are broad guidelines only, designed to assist with feeding your pet based on their weight, age and activity level. Always check the feeding charts on your pet's food packaging in conjunction with these feeding guidelines. Required amounts may differ between individual pets, and adjustments may be required to maintain optimal body weight.

Once or twice daily feeding is recommended for adult dogs, unless otherwise specified by your veterinarian. Puppies and kittens require feeding more regularly, with the total portion divided into three or four meals throughout the day. Ensure fresh water is available at all times.
