- Suitable for ponds containing live plants and fish
- Determine pond volume accurately before use
- Before using, make certain that the pond has vigorous aeration, i.e., a fountain or aeration device to avoid fish loss due to low oxygen levels
- Vigorous, 24 hour aeration is required for the duration of the treatment - do not shut off pond pumps and aeration devices at night
- Mix thoroughly near pump outflow, waterfall, or aeration device
- Avoid overdosing
- As algae dies, remove as much of the dying algae as possible.
- Do not use with freshwater crustaceans like shrimp, crabs, and lobsters
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
