API Proper Ph Freshwater Aquarium Water Ph Stabiliser

API Proper pH 8.2

API has been an industry leader in fish care, nutrition, treatments, testing and pond products for over 50 years, giving them a keen insight into your aquarium and its needs - making them the clear choice for fish enthusiasts around the world.

API Proper pH 8.2 automatically sets and stabilizes pH at 8.2 in saltwater, brackish, and African cichlid aquariums without the use of phosphates. pH is the measure of acidic or alkaline conditions in water, where a value of 7.0 corresponds to a neutral pH, pH values above 7.0 are considered alkaline, and pH values below 7.0 are considered acidic. Different fish need different pH levels to be healthy, so it is important to test your water regularly to ensure pH levels fall where they should. If water does not test at the desired pH level, use API Proper pH 8.2 to adjust and hold the level. Use when setting up aquarium or changing water.

Key Features:

  • Sets and stabilises the pH at 8.2
  • pH 7.0 not recommended for planted aquariums
  • Suitable for saltwater, brackish, and African cichlid aquariums
  • Use when setting up an aquarium or changing the water

Feeding Guidelines

These are broad guidelines only, designed to assist with feeding your pet based on their weight, age and activity level. Always check the feeding charts on your pet's food packaging in conjunction with these feeding guidelines. Required amounts may differ between individual pets, and adjustments may be required to maintain optimal body weight.

Once or twice daily feeding is recommended for adult dogs, unless otherwise specified by your veterinarian. Puppies and kittens require feeding more regularly, with the total portion divided into three or four meals throughout the day. Ensure fresh water is available at all times.
