Cement Swing with Wire Frame

Recommended for: most birds, see dimensions below for sizing suggestions

Although the idea of a bird pedicurist is an adorable image in our minds, these are easier ways to keep your birdies nails prim and proper?

Like this swing, for example. The concept is simple: as your bird hops onto or moves along the swing, they grip the non-skid cement bar with their nails, naturally trimming them as they move about. So not only will your bird be getting some exercise and stretching their wings, but theyll be getting a secret pedicure in the process!

  • Made from cement
  • Easily attaches to most cages
  • Wears down your birds nails gradually as they move from perch to perch, reducing the need for manual trimming
  • Perch encrusted with sea shells for additional calcium source
  • Safe, textured non-skid surface

Dimensions:

  • Small - 10cm perch - budgies, lovebirds and other small birds
  • Medium - 17cm perch - small to medium sized birds including budgies, conures and cockatiels
  • Large - 22cm perch - medium to large sized birds including cockatiels, conures, eclectus and Amazon parrots

Always introduce new toys to your bird under supervision and check them regularly to ensure they are still safe to play with.

Feeding Guidelines

These are broad guidelines only, designed to assist with feeding your pet based on their weight, age and activity level. Always check the feeding charts on your pet's food packaging in conjunction with these feeding guidelines. Required amounts may differ between individual pets, and adjustments may be required to maintain optimal body weight.

Once or twice daily feeding is recommended for adult dogs, unless otherwise specified by your veterinarian. Puppies and kittens require feeding more regularly, with the total portion divided into three or four meals throughout the day. Ensure fresh water is available at all times.
