They're ideal where micro-climates have high humidity or there's the risk of accidental water spillage which could cause a regular basking lamp to burn out or shatter. Containing an outer sleeve made from extra strong neodymium glass. They also have a Light/Heat Beam: 40-60, Colour Rendering Index: CRI 87 and Thermal Efficiency: 93%.
