Product Details
- Initial Setup: Gently rinse the sensors in clean, conditioned aquarium water before placement. Do not use tap water, soap, or detergents, as these will permanently damage the delicate sensor discs.
- Placement: Secure the monitors to the inside of your aquarium glass using the attached suction cups. For the most accurate readings, place them in a high-visibility area with steady, moderate water flow.
- Ammonia Alert: A yellow color indicates safe, trace levels. Green indicates an alert or alarm state, and blue signals a toxic emergency.
- pH Alert: Match the sensor disc color directly to the surrounding color wheel on the plastic card to determine your current pH rating.
- Sensors Not Reacting? If the sensor discs become coated with algae or biofilm, gently wipe them clean using a soft, clean aquarium-safe cloth or sponge. Avoid touching the sensor discs directly with bare fingers, as skin oils can interfere with their accuracy.
