- Pet Suitability: Ideal for Discus (Symphysodon spp.), Angelfish, German Blue Rams, Apistogrammas, Cardinal and Neon Tetras, and other acid-loving freshwater community fish.
- Dosing Instructions: Use 1 level teaspoon (5g) for every 40-80 L (10-20 US gallons) daily until the intended pH is attained. Thereafter, add once a month or alongside scheduled water changes to maintain stability.
- Target pH Ratios (Discus Buffer to Neutral Regulator): pH 6.0: Ratio 3 : 1 | pH 6.4: Ratio 2 : 1 | pH 6.8: Ratio 1 : 1
- Planted Tank Caution: Because this product uses a phosphate-based buffering system, use caution in high-tech planted aquariums prone to phosphate-driven algae proliferation (consider Seachem Acid Buffer as a phosphate-free alternative for heavily planted systems).
