- Pet Suitability: Ideal for nocturnal reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates including Pythons, Boas, Geckos, Hermit Crabs, Tarantulas, Frogs, and Tropical Lizards requiring elevated ambient temperatures at night.
- Setup & Placement: Screw into a ceramic/porcelain lamp fixture rated for the bulb's specific wattage (do not use plastic sockets). Mount securely above the wire mesh screen lid outside the enclosure.
- Thermostat Recommendation: For accurate temperature regulation and extended bulb life, control the lamp with a dimming or pulse proportional thermostat.
- Safety & Care: Always switch off power and allow the bulb to cool down completely before touching or moving the fixture. Avoid spraying water or misting directly onto the glass while lit to prevent thermal shock and bulb breakage.
