- Pet Suitability: Essential for all desert and tropical reptiles requiring high-level UVB exposure, including Bearded Dragons, Frilled-neck Lizards, Blue-tongued Skinks, Monitors, Day Geckos, and Tortoises.
- Setup & Placement: Mount the fixture over a wire mesh screen lid or hang it above the enclosure. Pair with an appropriately sized T5 HO linear lamp (such as a ReptiSun 5.0 or 10.0 UVB bulb). Ensure the basking site is at an appropriate distance based on the chosen lamp strength.
- Routine Maintenance: Turn off and unplug the fixture before cleaning. Periodically dust the inner parabolic reflector using a soft, dry microfiber cloth to maintain peak light output. Replace UVB lamps every 10–12 months as output degrades over time, even if visible light remains.
