- Suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums
- This product does not remove ammonia, nitrite, nitrate or heavy metals
- Rinse thoroughly before use to remove any fine particles
- Place the media in a filter bag or directly into your filter, preferably after any mechanical filtration
- Replace the carbon every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain its effectiveness
- It is recommended to remove this filter media from your aquarium when medicating your fish
- Only ever clean filter media with used tank water to preserve beneficial bacteria colonies
