- Suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as sumps
- Rinse the rings with aquarium water before use to remove any dust
- Place the media directly into your filter, either loose or in a media bag
- These rings can be positioned before, between, or after other filter media
- It is recommended to replace the media approximately every six months
- Periodically wash the rings in used tank water to remove any accumulated debris
- Never use chlorinated tap water for cleaning as this may harm your aquarium's ecosystem
