- Pet Suitability: Ideal for freshwater community fish, planted aquariums, cichlids, goldfish, turtles, and marine fish or reef tanks. Select the Classic 250 for aquariums up to 250 L or the Classic 350 for aquariums up to 350 L.
- Setup & Placement: Position the canister filter underneath the aquarium inside a cabinet. Ensure the head unit sits below the water level to allow gravity priming. Use the included double taps for quick-release hose disconnection during routine servicing.
- Routine Maintenance: Never wash biological filter media in tap water. Gently rinse the biological media in salvaged aquarium water during water changes to preserve beneficial nitrifying bacteria. Replace mechanical fine filter pads regularly and swap out chemical media every 3–4 weeks.
