Meals For Mutts Recall: Alternative Products

We have been made aware of quality issues affecting some Meals for Mutts dry food products manufactured from 6 June 2023 onwards, resulting in the development of mould in some products and, in limited cases, the presence of metal.
Pet Circle has made the decision to action a voluntary recall of Meals for Mutts and Meals for Meows dry food products that have been purchased since 6 June, 2023. These products will not be available to purchase from Pet Circle until the product quality issues have been rectified.
If you have an affected product, please contact our Customer Service Team who will assist with a refund or a credit. You will also be emailed a $50 voucher to be used on any food purchase. Our Pet Circle Vet Squad has provided recommended alternative products in the tables below.
Transition Advice
When transitioning your pet to a new diet, it is ideal to do so gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. However, if you have an affected product we recommend that you dispose of it immediately and use an alternate food, so please be aware that you may notice some symptoms of mild digestive upset including soft stools or flatulence for the first 1 to 2 weeks on the new food. Once your pet's digestive system has adjusted, symptoms should quickly resolve. If at any stage you are concerned for your pet's health, please seek veterinary attention.
