Green Lipped Mussel (Perna canaliculus) is a shellfish originating from New Zealand. It contains omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, glucosaminoglycans (a source of chondroitin), vitamins and minerals which have been shown to have beneficial anti-inflammatory effects and reduce pain in the joints in dogs with arthritis.
