Frequently Asked Questions
How to get dog hair out of carpet?
Our pets are often inside with us in this day and age. Indoor dogs mean pet hair, which is indiscriminately dropped over carpets, furniture and bedding. There are a number of ways to get pesky pet hair out of your carpets:
- Pet hair vacuum: many pet-friendly vacuum models have a specialised vacuum head to help pull pet hairs from the carpet fibres, making cleaning your carpets much easier.
- Rubber gloves or rubber squeegee: rubber does a great job of grabbing pet hairs from the carpet fibres. This would work best if you vacuum your carpets first.
- Carpet rake: the bristles on a carpet rake will help loosen and lift pet hair from carpet fibres. Carpet rakes can help your vacuum pick up the loosened pet hairs from carpet fibres, and allow you to cover large surface areas.
- Wet hands: slightly wet hands with a sweeping motion will catch pet hair really well, although a little messier.
