lasted ages before it got pulled apart due to a game of tug a war between my lab x shar pei and a jug..jack Russell x pug

I have a 40+ kg lab and he loves this toy. I think he could have done with an XL but not sure if they are available. He's a gentle giant though and struts around very proudly with the Kong bear in his mouth. I'd definitely recommend this toy. The ropes give him something to chew on too and no bits of stuffing to be found!

Our dog is a power chewer. I don't know about less mess, and its certainly not indestructible, but we love how long this toy lasts and loves breaking it down. We've bought this guy at lease three times now.

    Great.

Read the reviews and was convinced that this toy would last longer for my little cavalier. It appeared to be quite a tough toy. Unfortunately, my dog managed to chew a hole in the toy within a few hours and start pulling out the stuffing. Probably would not purchase this particular toy again.

I have recommended it to several friends and their dogs love it. My staffy loves to chew on it and tosses it in the air before running around with it in her mouth. This is her second bear

This is the best soft toy for small dogs!!! My mini schnauzers love their Kong bear. Every night they walk around with it, fight over it, chew it, sleep with it. The Kong bear last much longer than other soft toys and is the only one my dogs really like to play with. Two dogs tugging and pulling on it for a year before I have to get a new one ... so yes, very good value.

This is a great toy and my puppy loved it. However, I would not recommend it if your puppy tends to eat things it shouldn't. The rope is not strong and is easily swallowed. The fall out and clean up as a result of my pup eating the rope has left me a little traumatised. Needless to say, my puppy's favourite toy is now in the bin :(

My golden retriever has a reputation for ripping the stuffing out of every soft toy we have given her. This bear has survived days of unsupervised play. Although the ears of the bear were chewed off in the first 15 minutes, the remainder of the toy is still very much in tact. Highly recommend.

My two dogs LOVED this toy. But.... I did not read the information before buying....It has a squeaker - which they love and I hate. It does have stuffing so when they split teddy there was stuffing everywhere - i thought it was just rope.... Lasted about 3 days of before/after work play - but they wanted to play tug-of-war (thanks squeaker) so arms and legs split plus the head chewing made holes easily = more stuffing came out. Great if you have gentle dogs, but mine need EXTRA stitching. Wont be buying again. Cattle dog & Lab

I ordered the large size for my 8 week border collie puppy and it is by far still his favourite toy 2 months later. He definitely seems to enjoy swinging it around and chewing on this bear compared to his other toys. Although the squeaker is very difficult to press (at least in our bear)

My Spoodle loves her bear. She's had one since the day I bought her home & she's just turned one! I had to get her a second one so I didn't have to keep remembering to pack it as she lives between two places. Her bear & Kong Squiggle are her all time favorites. The poor bear gets chewed on every day. It's amazing there's anything left. Good quality product. If I want something to last … I buy King!!!

Our 7 month old cocker spaniel pulled all of the stuffing and squeakers our within 2 hours She loved the toy, but it just didn't last as expected

Still going strong. My dog loves his Teddy. Great value for money.

We have lots of toys for our puppy, this is definitely her favourite, you have to try it out if you haven’t got one for your dog :)

Not used this toy yet as it was purchased as a Christmas gift. It looks adorable. A little smaller than thought but my mistake as dimensions were advised.

Although I can see the Kong bear won't last forever it has certainly outlasted any other similar toy. Our kelpie loves to sit and pick away at stuffed toys. So far she has been unable to breach the Kong bear's defences!

This bear feels very well made and has handled a bit of teething with no issues. My pup likes this for his night time play as ifs cuddly enough to snooze with too

  • Reviewed

My greyhound absolutely loves this little bear.

Our 8 month puppy loved this toy... So much so that it only lasted a couple days. Our pup's favourites are always the soft toys but he always completely destroys them. We bought this toy in hopes that it would last much longer than the cheap soft toys we buy, but it didn't. Wouldn't recommend for any dog who likes to chew.

A definite fav, she loves it.

    Lasted about 3 days!

great product and it still hasn't been destroyed which is good because all the other toys did and my labrador carries it around everywhere!

The bear arrived with a stick on the fur, peeling it off gently removed a lot of the fur but there has been no issues with fur falling out since. My retired greyhound loves the squeak factor and this is for sure her favourite toy. It entertains her for ages and I love being in another room and hearing her bite down on the squeaky part of the bear.

What a great product! My two Weimaraners 12 weeks old and 1 year old use this for a tug of war everyday and its still in one piece.

  • Reviewed

We have a Great Dane and a golden retriever at home and they both love this toy! it lasts surprisingly well even though it gets its fair share of chewing and tug of war.

  • Reviewed

Had to buy a second of these bears so a friend's dog could have one inside and one outside. The first bear was banned from the house as the dog took it everywhere. It is her close friend.

One of our favourite chew toys. Has been muched on and is still going strong.

    Still going strong

Our pup loved this toy! We bought 8 toys altogether, and when the delivery box arrived and she sniffed every toy - the teddy was the one she grabbed out and played with for hours. The rope on the inside makes it great for tug, and the minimal stuffing means she's not desperate to rip it apart like every other plush she's had. We still can't be too rough with it, it's already fraying under the arms, but it's lasted well for a toy like this. The fur is so soft too - it's a really great toy.

My Golden Retriever x Border Collie loves to chew, but also loves to cuddle. This bear has quickly become his new favourite toy and is strong enough to handle constantly being in his mouth. I love the knots instead of stuffing.

Bought 2 of these gave first one to 10 month old bull arab x wolfhound and was destroyed in about a week. Lovely toy but didn't last long.

Best ever. My staffy usually wrecks everything in a matter of days but Teddy has lasted well.

This is the only toy our staffie hasnt yet destroyed, great little bear.

  • Reviewed

great quality but i should have bought large size, too small for my bichon only 15cm approx

  • Reviewed

This bear only lasted half a day. The enticement of the squeaker was too much. Plus side not as much fluff everywhere.

  • Reviewed

To be fair, it does say this is not specifically a chew toy. But to get the toy to squeak you'd need to chew it a bit... Our Aussie Cattle dog had the rope ripped out and chewed through it in about an hour. Which is a shame because she loved it so much! (As I'm typing this, she seems to have dug through the bin to find it. So 5 stars from her!) We love Kong in general though and this won't stop us trying more of their toys!

I have an American Staffy, he tore the bear apart by the second day. Since then I keep finding the bear stuffing everywhere.

  • Reviewed

Best soft toy so far. The internal ropes keep things together. My only wish is that there wasnt as much stuffing so I dont have to pick it up across the yard.

only lasted an hr at our house, not a good buy

I just received the wild knot bear as a toy for my new puppy.  Although the puppy hasn't been released by the breeder yet I am very happy with the quality of all the Kong toys I have purchased in preparation of her arrival in my home.

Ive had this for a couple of weeks now. Most other dog toys that ive brought dont get to see a couple of days. Will be ordering another as ive got two dogs they are fighting over it

He loves chewing it and throwing it up in the air. It is also his security bear as he love settling down in bed with wherever we travel in our van and at home.

  • Reviewed

Had this bear for a few weeks now, my dog loves it and it still has not been torn/chewed to pieces (my dog is certainly trying). Really happy with it!

  • Reviewed

Bought this as previous toys have neded up meeting their maker quickly, not through being ripped apart -more sucked and loved to death. This bear is robust and has lasted longer than any of Winston's previous toys. Highly recommended.

  • Reviewed

The Bear was soo cute! Our two fur babies loved it so much that they managed to destroy the bear in less than half an hour - still have the knotted rope, an unstuffed body and a separate unstuffed head which they still carry around though.

  • Reviewed

Adding to my previous review - my puppy is now 17 weeks old and although teddy is now missing his ears she loves it. Won't sleep without it in her crate and carry's it around the house.

  • Reviewed

Having had good success with other Kong products with our puppy I thought perhaps this stuffed toy would be more robust. Expecting the rope skeleton to make it last a bit longer I thought we would get at least a couple of weeks out of it but this toy sadly lasted less than an hour. If you have a small dog or one that is not too hard on toys I would recommend this, but if your dog is a chewer of anything larger than medium sized I would not recommend this.

  • Reviewed

From the time we gave this to our Labrador she has played with it. It has become her all-the-time friend. It is used during daily playtime as well as her night time companion. As with all Kong products it is of the highest quality and well worth the purchase price.

  • Reviewed

Being a tough knot bear, thought it would be great for our boy. But I'm afraid this little bear, couldn't stand up to the jaws of our demolition shepherd (45 kgs). Still surviving though, with a few running repairs. It would excellent for a smaller dog, Border Collie, Golden Retreiver, etc.

  • Reviewed

I bought this for my puppy who destroys everything with fluff in it! even if we didn't know there was fluff in it, he'll find it. This lasted so long! it was his baby, i think being left in the sun and suckled on so much made it weaker. It is now destroyed but only after a few months with a very destructive, very large GSD pupp.

  • Reviewed

Sturdy and takes a lot of pulling between two dog's without ripping.

The Kong knot bear is great, she has had it for a couple of weeks and loves throwing it around or laying and chewing on it.

  • Reviewed

Bought this about a month ago for our golden retriever who manages to chew most of her toys to destruction. This toy is very popular with her and its fully intact!

  • Reviewed

My dog Molly loves this bear, its her favourite toy. She has had it for months and it has no ear, one arm and one leg but still going strong!

  • Reviewed

My pup has had this toy for 8 weeks and loves it. He takes it to bed, suckles it and gives it a very solid chew and spit multiple times a day. Its still whole and he carts it everywhere. I am getting another one- not because of wear and tear but in case he ever loses it!!

  • Reviewed

This little bear is very cute, but it was ripped apart within a day. It may be ok for puppies, but wasn't tough enough for our needs.

  • Reviewed

I got this toy for my puppy when he was a few months old and he still plays with it now that he's turning 1. He ripped it a little bit as he started teething, but it's still useable. I would recommend it to puppies or dogs that are not strong chewers.

  • Reviewed

Bought this bear for 3rd time as my Maltese/Poodle just loves it. I don't have anything left of the prev 2 but as it was his 1st birthday I got another. Mine last a few months and I'm eventually left with the rope centre which he continues to play with. It's not a everlasting toy depending on the dog. I will continue to keep replacing it as Giz loves it more than his favourite ball.

I gave this to my 8 wk old puppy without many teeth, played with it hLf a dozen times if that, and the seam along the back has already split wide open!!! Don't buy it as its total rubbish for an expensive Kong toy!!!
