What are the benefits of using a cat bed for anxiety?

Anxious cats will usually avoid flat mats or bolster beds and instead opt for some other covered sleeping spot. Beds with a hood or raised rim can enhance feelings of safeness and protection to allow your cat to fully relax into a good nights sleep. For best results combine with a Feliway diffuser or spray. Either give your cat's bed a spray or place the bed near a diffuser for continuous relief.

How do you clean cat anxiety beds?

Check the product instructions for your specific bed but most beds are machine washable. Otherwise you can handwash the bed in warm water with detergent and allow to air dry.
